Rake Top or Angle Top Windows

Two different names with the same exact meaning, rake top is kind of the word that is used in the construction world. Angle top is the word that is more generic, but they mean the same thing. Either way, if you have this shaped window, then you may be looking for a window covering that gives you the best coverage. Take a peek at this video and see if this is a good fit for you. We highlight the valance or top treatment in this video. More details to follow.

The Larger Valance

In many of my previous videos about angle top windows or rake windows, we highlight using the shorter height valance. Usually, that is because we want to maximize the view and the light coming in to the room. But as you can see in this case, all that is visible at the top of the window is the sky. There is no special view that is being blocked by a taller valance. The benefit in this case is that the entire rake top shade is hidden by the valance giving it a very clean look.

This is a premium product, so if you are looking for something to give you the best solution for your angled windows, you should consider looking into it. We are happy to assist you in this no matter where you live. We have sent these shades all over the country and we’d be thrilled to work with you as well. Be aware that these are not an inexpensiv product, but worth every penny for how incredible they are.
