Whether your blinds are wood, vinyl, composite or aluminum, they had to be made. This quick video shows part of the process. Of all the steps, I found these two the most interesting. This video was shot while on a factory tour of one of my vendors. Thank you to the amazing staff at Century Blinds Inc. in Corona, CA, you can see how they combine machine labor and human labor. The staff on the floor of the factory seemed to really be enjoying themselves. Century Blinds Inc. is owned by Hunter Douglas, but they are not managed by them. The next time you see some horizontal blinds, reflect on the amount of steps that go into them and all the different people who helped build them.
