Arch Window Covering Option

If you have a home with an arch window, you know how frustrating it can be to try to cover it with a functional window treatment. This blog is showing one simple option that can be done with any type of horizontal window treatment.

This window treatment is the Hunter Douglas Duette Architella Honeycomb Shade. It is controlled by PowerView which is the automation treatment. As was mentioned in the video, this option only works if the width of the window and the angle of the ceiling are able to work together. So, technically this is NOT an arch window covering, but it works for it. Why did we choose this option?

It Is About The Needs of the Client

Another Option For Arch Window Covering

The client wanted a solution for their window that would be easy to use and would be functional. This arch window covering option covered both of those needs. Plus it matched the lower shade that we had installed a couple of years before. But since this is a home office, they needed to block the direct sunlight that Reno is so known for. They are super happy with how it works for them.

Is this the right option for you? We’d have to consult, but many of our arch jobs are done with this product. A lot of people like the shape of the arch and choose the shutter looking product, but we like to show you different options, so when you choose an arch window covering, you are making the best choice for you.
