People look for the term Kempler Design Review all the time. They want to make sure that if they hire us, that we are competent and that we take care of the needs of our clientele. So, I decided to post this “reveal” that we did recently as a way to show you the reaction people have to the work we do for them.

So, technically, this isn’t a Kempler Design review, but maybe this client will actually do one on some sort of social media. Either way, I’d like to explain to you how we work, so you can decide if we are a good fit for you.
How Does Kempler Design Work?
Our process is extremely interactive. This means that we listen carefully and we guide you through the process of selecting the right products with you. We hear from our customers that lots of designers have a certain style and they kind of force that on you. If you like their style, then you are in good shape, but if you have a different view of design than they do, then you will be painted into a corner.
With Kempler Design, we take the time to really listen to your viewpoint of things. Your view is the most important thing to us. If you take a look at our videos or blog posts, you will see that our projects have such variance in their looks. That is because we design based on YOUR desires, not our viewpoint of what you should do. I’d illustrate it this way: Designing your window treatments is kind of like being guided through a challenging pathway. We are there to assist you along the way.
I offer two distinct types of information to you through the process. One is factual. For example, “This product behaves this way. You need to understand that if you purchase it, it will do “This” or “That””. The other type of information is “opinion”. For example, “I feel like this is not the right product for what you have told me you want. You said you wanted bold, and I feel like this is a bit too subtle”.
Giving a Kempler Design Review
The reaction in the video is completely normal for us, though there are times that people’s vision of what is going up on their windows can be tweaked from the time they order until the time of installation. And other times people need a few days for their minds to accept the dramatic difference between having something different on their windows. So, every time that I do an installation, I get a personalized Kempler Design Review, but I was happy to share this one with you.
