Pairing Hunter Douglas
When you are using technology, you need to be able to find a simple way to make it work. The first thing you need to do when pairing Hunter Douglas products is making the remote control work with the shades, blinds, shutters or draperies. I think your best option is to watch this video. I’m a visual person, so I would watch the attached video.

One of the things that you will notice in the video is that when you are doing the pairing, the timing is the key. Also important is following the instructions perfectly. That is why I show you in the video. If you do things out of order, you will be frustrated. So, my opinion is that you should watch the last part of the video a few times. Memorize the key points.
- Flashing Remote in correct channel (1 – 6)
- Press and Hold (for less than 5 seconds) the button on the Shade
- Press and Hold the UP button on the remote control and then…
- Immediately release both
- Watch the reaction of the shade. It will jog to show pairing.
