This installation was something new for us at Kempler Design. We were installing a Hunter Douglas PowerView Applause shade for a client at Lake Tahoe. The window was a large one on the landing of their stairwell. Because the window allows views directly into their bedroom, they need to control it from multiple locations. We decided to program two remote controls. One would be placed in the master bedroom and one would be placed at the bottom of the stairwell.

It is not quite as simple as ordering two PowerView remote controls. Some work needs to be done prior to the installation of pairing the remote controls. We don’t show how to do that in this video, but if you don’t do it properly, only one of the remotes will function.

Proper design of motorized window coverings is critical from so many perspectives. We help you select the correct products, the right power supply, the right controls, and other things too. In fact, there are too many things to mention in a short blog post. The results are what matter most. Choose a window fashions expert to help design your perfect window treatments.
