I get asked often what my style is. My usual answer explains that Kempler Design designs based on my client’s needs and not on mine. But, for the sake of the record, I would describe my style as transitional. I’m not brave enough for true contemporary design and I find traditional styling to be old-fashioned for my tastes. We recently did a minor re-do at my home and I thought I would share some of the photos from my wife’s blog, RenoGalSays. In the end, one of the best compliments I’ve ever received was from one of my workroom suppliers. They saw some of the top designers’ work in the Reno area and they told me that I had the best sense of style and color of any of the designers that worked with them and that none of my jobs were the same. Some designers make a living by creating “Their” style. I prefer to make my living by helping my clients to express their individual style. I just guide them through the process. My reviews help tell that story
