Could you do this yourself? Sure, but there are a couple of things to consider. You have to decide how to finish your hems so it looks finished from both sides. You have to choose a rod that won’t sag when you hang it across a large span. We chose a heavy-duty rod from Orion Drapery Hardware. There are a couple of other things too, but I can’t give away ALL my secrets!
