Sheer Side Panels

Sheer Side Panels provide a finishing touch

Recently, I had posted a blog about changing window coverings from 2″ Blinds to the Hunter Douglas Pirouette shades. In it, you can see the dramatic difference that replacing old and tired window blinds has on an interior. This client had a very specific way in which they wanted their windows treated. I want it to be clear that drapery design is not all about my way or the highway. The only thing that I was adamant about was in the selection of the fabric. This customer had originally selected a plain voile sheer. I knew that they needed more impact in the room without being over the top, so I suggested the sheer that is shown. It is a nice sheer fabric with geometric rectangles attached. Those “dots” provide some interest to the otherwise fairly plain fabric chosen.
