By use of the Silhouette Shade, by Hunter Douglas, you can have the look of a blind, the insulation of a shade, the design of…the Silhouette! As you can see from the video, you can cover the whole window and either tilt the material into a view-through or privacy position, or you can do the same, while having the shading dropped from the top, leaving you a completely unencumbered view for whatever portion of the top of the window that you prefer. This feature is called top down / bottom up and is available with many types of shadings, but the unique characteristics of the Silhouette shade make it even more versatile. There are size limitations on the top down / bottom up style, so you’ll have to contact us to see if it works for you. Even with all that this product does, it still has only one continuous cord loop that is attached at the window for child safety.
