If you have a sun room or solarium, especially at Lake Tahoe, you know how challenging it can be to provide shading for them. The curved shape makes it difficult to have a product that moves out of the way when you want it. There aren’t that many products made for these applications, but the ones that are made are pretty amazing. One thing to keep in mind with all screen shades is how the color of the shade affects your view and your heat gain. The simple concept is this. The lighter the color of the shade, the less heat gain you will get inside and the worse your view will be due to light refraction; and the darker the color of the shade, the better your view will be due to absorbed light refraction, but the more heat gain the room will have.
