Silhouette Shades

Silhouette Shades

This is the simplest way to use your shadings. It does not require the available scene controllers, hubs or app based ways of working your shades. All it requires is the remote control and some basic programming which is provided at installation in most cases. To work the shades, simply press the button which corresponds to the single shade or group that has been chosen. There are 6 buttons, plus an all button, which allows you to control 6 separate groups. A group can have one shade in it, or multiple shades. It is all a matter of communication with your window fashions expert. For simple applications, where all the shades are in one room, or where you have 6 shades or less, many of our Reno or Lake Tahoe clients will choose the hand held remote or the wall mount remote, which use the same manner of communication with the shade. Just a simple isolated and unique radio signal that the shade receives and responds to. Where there are many rooms or complicated scenarios, often clients will choose the hub and the web-based application to make the use of the shades or blinds even easier. For the Silhouette shades in the attached video, pay attention to how the shades are controlled separately on the remote control. The open and close buttons control the shade moving to the full up and down positions and the tilt buttons on the remote control the vane positions. To be honest, the app based controls are better for micro adjustments on the shadings. If you need exact positioning for your shades, you will be happier with the micro controls that PowerView offers in it’s free app available at the Play Store or the App Store.
